Update In a NutShell
Create a new folder on your desktop (right click > New > Folder) Rename if necessary
1* WWW.X431.COM
2* Login with your username and password and verification code (top left)
3* Click on Download centre (left side)
4* Download a,b (X431 MASTER-DIAGUN) a,b,c (Standard X431-Tool)
5* Save into the folder you created on the desktop
6* Download car manufactures individually and save in the folder you created on the desktop
After you have finished this
7* Exit X431.COM website
8* Open the folder you have created
9* Find FILE - Serial update tool.exe
10* Windows XP users double left click -- INSTALL program as normall
Windows vista or Windows 7 Right Click and *RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR* -- INSTALL program as normal
11* Connect CF CARD to the USB (you will need to know the location of this drive (my computer> removable mass media drive >? e,f,g ?< the drive letter will be shown) EXIT this screen
12* Windows XP users double left click RUN program
Windows vista or Windows 7 Right Click and *RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR*
13* With the X431 update tool loaded, bottom left section ensure the source folder is correct (this is the folder you created on the desktop)
14* Ensure the target folder is correct (This is the CF CARD *drive letter*)
15* Above this it will say SELECT ALL or SELECT LATEST choose what is necessary and tick the box
16* Please take note of the bottom of the screen at the required space available (this is to ensure you have enough space on the CF CARD) if you don't you will need to delete some previous versions of software
17* ALL IS GOOD ? Select the UPDATE BUTTON (it is advisable to not touch the PC during this stage)
UPDATE SUCCEED Eject or Remove CF CARD safely
